A Little Jazz Piano Sonata in C is my attempt to clothe the structure of a Mozartian Classical Sonata in some of the melodic, harmonic, and rhythmic garments of jazz. The first movement is in sonata form, the second in ABABA form (and also a transcription of my song On Telling you Not Nearly Often Enough That I Love You), and the finale sparkling sonata-rondo-and-fugato.
